"Meg Tait’s practice is performance based; she is interested in the ambiguity
between the performer and the character with a lot of her work revolving around questioning whether the moment when one becomes the other can be defined. For this show she will be investigating the possibility of ‘evil rat’ as an anagram of ‘live art’ and her position as a performer within these disparate terms. The durational work will see her continually re-arrange the letters whilst taking the role of a performer in a rat costume, or, an evil rat infiltrating an arts establishment."
